Youth Listening In Cuba

It is great to know that a large part of our listening audience in Cuba is young people. I recently received a Father’s Day card from a young man that lives in Havana.

As we gathered last week for the annual Cuba Youth Conference in Matanzas, Cuba we were greeted by Harry and more than 250 young people that came together from 16 different provinces to learn more about Jesus. Many shared how they tune-in to La Voz Alegre (The Happy Voice) every Sunday night. They would describe how they would adjust their antennas for the best reception. One of my greatest joys is knowing that this new generation of Cubans is hungry for God’s Word and go out of their way to tune-in. As with most young people, they have many choices in how they use their time.
