Yes, discovering the most talented people to put on radio is work! This summer our search put me at the Spiritual Growth Workshop in Orlando.
Julio and Fior Betia (right), actually recorded some of the episodes of their program, “Cooking with the open Bible,” while at the workshop. Some of the speakers were guests in their cooking program. It was great watching them record in their hotel room, and create all of the sound effects of the kitchen at the same time. The Lord blessed us at this year’s workshop with more than 400 Latin Americans in attendance. Some of the speakers have expressed a desire to be involved by recording radio spots for our broadcast.

of their recorded Latin a capella music to
our efforts.

Recently, Jeff White, Director of WRMI, invited me to visit the shortwave station to discuss the possibility of broadcasting our Christ-centered Spanish programs. Jeff’s proposal is to put our programming on the air every Monday night for 60 minutes for just $60.00. Great news! Half of the money needed has been pledged. Will you help with the other $30.00 a week to put us on the air for a full hour every Monday night? We will reach Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Central America and most of South America.
People are seeking the saving message of Christ.Over 2,616 people have responded so far in 2010 to our media outreach. The requests for prayers and Bible studies continue to pour in.
Please pray that the loving message of Christ will reach souls and transform their lives.
