Thank God for
Luisito!
"Can you help us get a wheelchair for a friend in our
neighborhood?"
This was a request we received back in May of this year
from the youth group in Bellavista, Cuba.
Luisito, a paraplegic, lives in the neighborhood near where
the church meets. The young people met
him and learned that he desperately needed help.
They asked him if he went to church and found out that he
used to go, but that church had just forgotten about him. Confined to his home Luisito did not qualify yet for a new government issued wheelchair. But, for only $65.00, the church was able to
locate a wheelchair to suit his needs.
It is such a joy to share this story of love with you. From the beginning, receiving the first
request and photos of Luisito in May, to September, receiving the beautiful
news of Luisito putting on Christ in baptism.
Let's rejoice that God has allowed us to join hands in ministering to
Luisito and many others just like him.
People seeking help, finding Jesus living in our lives, and then
accepting Christ as their Savior too.
