God Has Plans!
As we share His message each day we pray that our plans are His plans. Brazil is a nation of 192,376,496 souls; that’s the 2011 official Brazilian government’s estimate. Wow! That’s a gigantic number.That’s a number that can only be reached using every opportunity possible to share the message of Christ.
What would a radio broadcasting partnership with our Brazilian brothers and sisters mean for those who are yet to hear the gospel? While God knows His plans, he calls on us to step out by faith to discover all the possibilities.
Today, the vibrant Brazilian church is led by elders, deacons, and evangelists working side by side with missionaries. So we ask, how much more would be accomplished by adding a daily radio hour in Portuguese throughout Brazil? Will someone tune in that has never considered Jesus as his or her personal Savior? This is our hope.
To accomplish this, we travel to Brazil. We are meeting with as many key members of the church, missionaries, and professionals who are using broadcasting in Brazil as we can. The evangelistic use of television and radio throughout Brazil has a long and wonderful history, with amazing results. F.H. Gates, a 32 year veteran missionary in Brazil has volunteered to “bring us up to speed” on the church's use of media in Brazil. He has served as co-host of the Portuguese television program Abra Sua Biblia with Antenor Gonçales for more than 15 years.World Christian Broadcasting is now in search of an effective broadcast format, writers, translators, radio speakers, music, and more for Brazil. We’ll go there to listen and to learn, so that we can discover the best way to touch the hearts of the Brazilian people.
Your prayers are greatly needed as we step forward by faith to discover God’s plan for a partnership with the Christians in Brazil and World Christian Broadcasting.
Lifting Up Cuba
We invite you to attend the third Cuba Summit! This one-day conference is organized solely for the purpose of letting the Holy Spirit guide His church and brotherhood organizations in reaching the Lost and spreading the Gospel in Cuba.Highlights include a special guest speaker from the church in Cuba, along with other church leaders from around the United States who are actively involved in Cuba. This event will be an informational and engaging forum for discussion, planning, and coordination of resources and efforts by those interested in serving God on the island of Cuba.
