What's Going On? February 2011

And the angels rejoice...

The angels rejoiced in heaven again this month!

Guillermina had her doubts. Her son, Bill, had gone off and joined the Church
of Christ youth group all on his own. So she rejected Bill’s new faith, but
that wasn't enough to bring him back to her. Later, Bill decided to be trained
as a missionary, travel to a foreign country, and share the good news of
Christ’s love.

Now the years have gone by, and Bill was able to return home for a visit during
La Navidad, Christmas. This time, Guillermina was ready to learn more about
Christ, but she still had her doubts. So Bill studied with her and shared
the Con La Biblia Abierta DVDs on the Holy Scripture’s message about becoming a
Christian, Haciendo Discipulos. Guillermina's doubts and fears were finally
answered!

I wish you could have seen the glow of love and pride on Bill’s face as he
showed me the video of his mother being baptized last week. Beautiful, the
full circle of a family united in Christ… and the angels rejoiced.

This month Bill returned to Leon, Mexico armed with a Snowball microphone,
recording software loaded into his computer, and training materials to
encourage other potential radio talent in Mexico. He is also carrying a set of
124 DVD episodes of the Con La Biblia Abierta program to freely duplicate and
distribute in Mexico. Please pray for this young man and his fiancée, Leticia,
as they rejoin their mission team in Leon.

From Pennsylvania to the streets of Argentina:
350 million Spanish-speaking people
Did you realize that Spanish is the leading language in 23 nations? Or that
Spanish ranks among the top three languages spoken in the world today? In
order to seize the opportunity to touch millions of Spanish-speaking people the
radio hour La Voz Alegre has been launched on a second shortwave frequency.

January 2011, Radio WINB began broadcasting our Spanish programming every
Monday night from 6:00-7:00 PM EST. We are pleased to say that the whole
western hemisphere is being reached with radio and Internet every week via WINB
located in Red Lion, PA and WRMI broadcasting from Miami, FL Mondays from
9:00-10:00 PM EST. These broadcasts, combined with the television outreach of
Con La Biblia Abierta, 350 million Spanish-speaking people are receiving the
Gospel of Christ in their homes and places of business.

With this very large vision in mind, the real importance of Christian radio and
television broadcasting is focused on the power of one: the one soul, the one
listener, and the one messenger sharing the one saving message of Jesus
Christ.

WHAT'S GOING ON?
January 2011

Happy New Year!

Media is everywhere. From the rural farmer to the city business person, from the streets to the high-rises of South America and beyond, access to electronic technology is multiplying around the world. It’s a technological tsunami of opportunity for Christians to share the loving message of Christ!

God in his divine providence has enabled us to develop and use our talents during “such a time as this”. Queen Esther was chosen by God to be used at just the right time to save the Jewish nation, Esther 4: 14.

Caracas, Venezuela recieves the message of Christ via our radio and television broadcasts

We too, are seriously looking at God’s mission for us at “such a time as this”. Now is the time for His message to penetrate the hearts and homes of millions of people every day.

Happy 2011!

• Happy because God is calling many to use their media skills and education in the world of missions!

• Happy that you are praying for this ministry!

• Happy that you responded to the financial need by supplying Snowball microphones to our speakers. With your extra donations 6 or our radio speakers in the field will be recording on professional equipment this year!

• Happy that record numbers of souls are responding to our radio messages!

• Happy that we are producing with a vision of reaching people through all forms of media technology.

• Happy that “La Voz Alegre” “The Happy Voice” radio hour is on the air every Monday night.

Want to make a vital difference in this mission effort? Here are two important ways to help in the New Year:

1. Pray- Prayer is the foundation for every spiritual endeavor. Through prayer you can go to the mission field every day and play an essential role in media outreach. Every new radio speaker, technician, script writer partnering with us have specific needs that you can pray about. Creativity, talent, equipment, and open doors for the distribution of Christ’s message are just a few of the ongoing needs.

2. Give- Face it, it takes money to do quality media programs. But when you consider the large potential impact and the relatively low cost-per-person of using these methods, investment in missionary media makes since. Yes, everyone who does this work operates “by faith”, depending on God to supply the required finances through individuals, churches, and other partners.

Your generosity provided our friends, Julio and Fior Beitia, originally from Venezuela, the tools needed to broadcast their Good News radio message with a new Snowball USB microphone.

Yes, with your ongoing prayers and support we are anticipating a very Happy New Year!

Season's Greetings from Rex Morgan

Season’s Greetings and Happy New Year from us at Christian Productions International.

Would You Like to Buy a Snowball?

Who’s ever heard of buying a snowball? Freezing hands and bright laughter on a cold snowy day are the snowball memories we share. That’s the wintery playful snowball!
This snowball is used to spread the loving, good news of Jesus Christ. The Snowball USB microphone is the latest generation of technology which allows the radio speaker to create and produce with a laptop from the mountains of Colombia, to the desktop in his home office.

“Bienvenidos amigos y amigas…” Iliana and Mario Motino and their family love Jesus and want to share the Gospel. From their home office her light and breezy voice welcomes the radio listener to the opening of the radio segment Consejos de Vida. Next, Mario’s strong, sincere voice continues with a culturally relevant, Bible based messages on Christian living.

Yes, that’s reaching out to the heart-talk of Latin American families. The truth and vitality of Jesus’ message for people’s lives is then sent over the airwaves. Volunteers like the Motinos need the tools to do the job. The Snowball microphone gives them the ability to record a broadcast quality program, which also increases the listener’s interest in the spiritual message.

We need to supply several Snowball USB microphones to volunteers that are ready to record now. This $160.00 microphone combined with our broadcasting capabilities will give our volunteer speakers a potential audience of 187 million households in Latin America. Did you ever think that your donation of $160.00 could go so far?

2011- Our goal is to supply 10 volunteers with the Snowball microphone by the end of January 2011, so they can begin radio production at a higher quality. Your donation is needed to reach this goal.

To make a donation for this specific purchase:
• Please write: Snowball Mic. on the memo line of your check.
• Make your donation payable to: Christian Productions International
• Address your envelope to: Christian Productions International

Your partnership is needed and appreciated.

Are you looking for sound advice for yourself and your family? Millions of people throughout Latin America are doing the same.

What is the meaning of life?

How can I find happiness?

My children, how can they have the hope of having a “good” future?

Our new Spanish radio program La Voz Alegre, The Happy Voice will target people who don’t know Jesus yet. They will discover the value of having Christ at the center of their lives through the hope and purpose which is found only in Him.
Families and individuals will be strengthened with clear guidance in many of the basic areas of life: marriage, parenting, and other relationships. Professional advice is also given on financial, health, and a variety of topics of interest. Some popular Latin music will be inserted to grab and hold the listener’s attention.

Interwoven in the hour are spiritual Bible-based messages which point clearly to Christ as the answer to life’s challenges. Free Bible correspondence courses will be offered throughout the hour to encourage a deeper study of God’s will for their lives.
