Just Who Is Listening?
“Wow, I have recorded a lot of preachers and religious programs, but none has impacted me like these segments on Biblical Archeology”. These are the words of
a radio-recording technician that was recording our programming. Even before we
have placed these radio segments on the air they are having an impact in people's lives.
He continued by telling us, “I question everything, that’s just the way I am. But, you are teaching that these people and events of the Bible are real historical figures. These programs are really needed in Latin America where there is so much doubt concerning God and the authenticity of the Bible.” We plan to follow his advise on getting these segments on the air with our other programming just as soon as we can.
We are receiving requests for Bible courses from our listeners weekly. During the last month radio listeners as far away as India and Spain listening to our shortwave broadcast on WINB contacted us. It is amazing to be able to reach so far with Christ’s message.
A little closer to home, we continue to receive many requests for Bible courses each week through our television broadcast, Con La Biblia Abierta and La Voz Alegre. Our radio broadcast to Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico on Trans World Radio, is enjoying a growing listening audience. I want to share with you just one of the many letters from Cuba to help you understand the power of casting the net of the Good News of Jesus Christ. This and many other letters are being received at the P.O. Box in Matanzas, Cuba.

The Cuba Summit - Bienvenidos!
You are invited to attend the third Cuba Summit!
This one-day conference is organized solely for the purpose of letting the Holy
Spirit guide His church and brotherhood organizations in reaching the Lost and
spreading the Gospel in Cuba.
Highlights include a special guest speaker from the church in Cuba, along with
other church leaders from around the United States who are actively involved in
Cuba. This event will be an informational and engaging forum for discussion,
planning, and coordination of resources and efforts by those interested in
serving God on the island of Cuba.

Brazil: We Went, We Learned
Promoting the production and use of media, to reach the lost in Brazil, is very exciting. In our recent travel to Brazil we learned many things from our meetings in Belo Horizonte, Itu, and Recife.
- Portuguese is not Spanish! Yes, while we already knew that, we "really" know it now.
- We became acquainted with the potential shortwave audience and other forms of
media where our future Portuguese daily programming can be used to reach the
lost. Shortwave will be effective in reaching the rural areas of Brazil.
- Throughout Brazil, Community Radio Stations, reaching about a 1 or 2 miles
radius are free or funded through donations.
- The Internet is used extensively throughout Brazil giving us a different audience through computers and smart phones.
- Television Program, Abra a Sua Biblia, Open Your Bible, produced and hosted by F.H. Gates and Antenor Gonçales continues to be broadcast. Segments of this program can be captured for our radio programming and broadcasts.
Join us in continuing to pray for the development of our partnership with the church in Brazil so that God can multiply our combined efforts to have an even greater impact for the Lord through media in Brazil.
